What it is
Your dentist checks every tooth, your gums and your bite, and our hygienist removes the plaque and tartar that brushing can't reach. You leave with fresher teeth, low-radiation digital X-rays if you need them, and a plain-English plan with no pressure attached.
Who it's for
- Anyone who hasn't seen a dentist in the last six months
- Gums that bleed or feel tender when you brush
- Coffee, tea or wine stains you'd like lifted
- New patients who want a clear starting point
What happens, step by step
- 01
Step 1: Catch up
We ask what's bothering you, review your health history and check your insurance benefits.
- 02
Step 2: Exam & X-rays
A full exam with intraoral photos you can see on screen. X-rays only when they'll change the plan.
- 03
Step 3: Gentle cleaning
Ultrasonic and hand instruments clear tartar, then a polish lifts surface stains.
- 04
Step 4: Your plan
What we found, what can wait and what can't, with costs after insurance written down.
Recovery and aftercare
No downtime. Gums can feel a little tender for a day after a deep clean. Skip coffee and red wine for a few hours after polishing.
Cost and insurance
Typically $195–$325 before insurance. Includes exam, cleaning and digital X-rays for new patients. Usually covered at 100% by PPO plans. We give you a written estimate after your exam, before any treatment starts. See our full price list.
